  The concept of NEW DAY was born from a simple request

   "isn't there ANYBODY who will help US for-sale-by-owners?"

Started in 1995 by Dee A. Young, an independent Indiana real estate broker, the firm began much like many other small start-up companies, on high hopes, a strong base of past customers, a solid business reputation, line of credit, and intense desire ...

"When I started NEW DAY, I chose to build a company who would dedicate our efforts to focusing on the 'do-it-yourself'ers of the home selling process'. All of our Clients have been some modification of the for-sale-by-owner/buyer concept.
We allow our Clients to get actively involved in the sales process, and most really seem to enjoy it. The majority of our new customers have been referrals. By offering affordable choices, and providing solutions that allow each family to select the program or services that best meets their individual needs, we've reached out to help many people buy or sell ~ who wouldn't have been able to afford to otherwise. With over 15 years of success under our belt, and well into another successful season, we have truly developed a strong presence in our niche speciality area."  Dee

The concept was simple. With an idea that if Sellers were allowed to participate more in the process, fees could be lowered & money could be saved. If Buyers were allowed to effectively preview the specifics of a house in advance, less time would be spent on nonproductive tours and home visits. Therefore, less time wasted and more focus on productive marketing efforts could be translated into lower professional fees! And, if Buyers & Sellers were brought together to work out the details of a transaction amicably, more homes would sell and close.
NEW DAY was one of the first firms to offer Voice Tours and property detail flyers curbside. Prior to the advent of the Internet, Buyers had no access to detailed property information.

NEW DAY was the one of the first realty firms to offer discounted professional fees in the Indianapolis market. From studying techniques already in place in California, Florida and other parts of the Country, the idea was brought home to Indy by Young.

"In the beginning, we were the ONLY ones openly offering discounts in our marketplace. We were highly controversial! But, such a forward-thinking concept couldn't be held back.
